DO YOU AGREE WITH OUR 2006 NOMINATIONS?
Our jury chose 10 names, but there are, undoubtedly, other players that might have been in the 2006 Golden Foot nominees short list. What do you think about our choice? Which player, in your opinion, might have competed for our prestigious career achievement award?

For me Roberto Carlos sould be one of the nominees, he is one of the best left defender ever!

Alain Shearer is maybe the best English forward ever, surely he could be a Golden Foot nominee.

I don't agree with the Beckham nomination, I had done nothing special for football. I can't accept also Shevchenko's victory last year even Nedved didn't deserved it. What about the great players Europe had? When will Maldini win it? And Zidane?
Now I can't vote Figo yet, I have to vote for Maldini again. Only because last year all Ukranians voted!!!!! People should vote for the best and Maldini is the player in Europe that mostly deserve to win the voting.

I would like to see Ryan Giggs in your list, he is one of the most important player in the great era of Manchester Utd's victories.

Dennis Bergkamp surely deserves to be in your list. He's a great player, "Mr. Class" would be a perfect Golden Foot candidate.

And Ronaldinho?? Why not?????? The Brasil's best player isn't Ronaldo, is Ronaldinho!!!!

To all our friends that have asked for Ronaldinho, we have to remeber that the Golden Foot award is a prize to the career for footballers that are at least 29 years old. Ronaldinho is still too young.
