Golden Foot helps “Maison de Vie” by Fight Aids Monaco

On 2009 October, during the “Golden Foot” prize-giving ceremony, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco awarded Ronaldinho as winner. During the gala dinner a charity auction took place with shirts signed by the great football legends, guests of the event. Last 2 of June, the President of “The Champions Promenade - Golden Foot” organizing committee, Mr Antonio Caliendo, delivered a 12.000 € cheque to HSH Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, president of the association “Fight AIDS Monaco”, committed in building “Maison de vie” in Carpantras (France), a house that will give hospitality to AIDS victims, people left by their family and without any job. The people will find support to begin a new life.

Meanwhile, Antonio Caliendo is committed in the creation of a new foundation to help all the football players that, after their career, are in economical troubles or are facing serious illness. “This job can give many satisfactions and many money,” Caliendo said. “But sometimes there are football players who are not prepared to live in that kind of situation and they can be easily cheated, waking up without anything left.”
