Extraordinary involvement in web voting for 2009 Golden Foot. After just two months, on official website www.goldenfoot.com we received more than 111.000 votes (in 2008 the total number was 105.589), but the poll will close on September 18. So there’s still a plenty of time to decide who is going to leave his footprints on the Champions Promenade in Monte Carlo as one of the greatest champions of all time. Internet, and a lot of contacts, could change everthing faster than ever, but for now five candidates are finding more supporters than others: Buffon, Figo, Henry, Raśl and Ronaldinho, in alphabetical order. Nothing is lost for the other six competitors, but only our football fans could change the scenario.
