Spain won the first Wold Cup, but it’s not just because they were a strong team. Two years ago “la Roja” won the European Championship thanks to Fernando Torres, Marcos Senna and David Silva, while in South Africa the heroes were Iker Casillas, David Villa, Carles Puyol, Andrés Iniesta and Xavi. This means it’s not a single team that is winning, but a golden generation. The Football federation work was huge, but also the teams played a great part in it.
