Coach Vicente del Bosque has been rewarded for guiding Spain to the World Cup triumph with a match in his home town of Salamanca. The Spanish football federation announced that the Euro 2012 qualifier on October 8 against Lithuania will be played in Salamanca's Estadio Helmantico. It will be the only home match for the world champions this autumn. Del Bosque, 59, was born in Salamanca. In 1968, aged 17, he left his native city to join the nursery team of Real Madrid CF.
