Hernan Crespo proclaimed himself overwhelmed with joy after completing his return to Parma FC. The 34-year-old, who averaged more than a goal every other game in a four-year stint with the Gialloblu between 1996 and 2000, was thrilled to return to the Stadio Ennio Tardini after finding first-team opportunities limited at Genoa FC. "So much joy, so many emotions... to come back to this city is full of beautiful memories. Still I do not realise the full extent,” he was quoted. “I did not believe returning was possible.
