The Maracanà was graced with legends Zico and Romario playing on the same field for the first time ever by the end of 2009. The coming together of the Golden Foot legends was historical. They had a huge argument before France 1998 World Cup, when Romario wasn’t called up by coach Zagallo and assistant Zico. The rift was so bad that until the exhibition match the feud was said to have rumbled on for an incredible 11 years. But with this match it ended. And they both enjoyed playing it.
